With every great revolution, a country has a completely new identity. One of the most important events in the 20th century was the Russian revolution that led to the rise of communism and marked an end to the monarchy. It was a result of incompetent government and insensible Tsar Nicholas 2 who proclaimed that he was chosen by God to rule the people of Russia.
